Shell has signed an agreement with Fixturegram to standardise and digitalise oil cargo shipment workflows after completing a multi-country pilot, the companies report.
Singapore-based Fixturegram is the developer of a software system used to automate port call tasks and provides instant status updates. The company was founded by Eric Lim, who previously worked as Global Digitalisation Project Lead at Shell before launching Fixturegram in 2019.
The cloud platform digitises shipment data, templates documents, provides live AIS-GPS tracking, and delivers voyage analytics covering demurrage, cargo loss, operations efficiency and carbon emissions.
Fixturegram says that the partnership reflects growing interest from major cargo owners in structured, digital workflows and tools that produce reliable data for operations, commercial teams and regulatory reporting.
