Satcom Global has launched Aura Citadel, a new on-vessel IT management and cybersecurity platform for onboard networks.
Aura Citadel provides centralised control of onboard business networks, combining network simplification, cybersecurity protection and disaster recovery capabilities.
The system is designed to integrate with existing onboard infrastructure, allowing vessels to upgrade their IT environments without requiring full network reconfiguration.
The platform includes an intrusion detection system that monitors connected business and operational assets, including systems such as ECDIS and fuel monitoring equipment. Satcom Global says that the system also supports compliance with cybersecurity standards including IACS E26 and E27.
Disaster recovery and business continuity are additionally built into the platform.
