OrbitMI adds CleanQuote integration to improve data collection

Maritime software provider OrbitMI has improved its workflow capabilities through a new integration with CleanQuote, a Denmark-based vessel cleaning procurement platform.

This move will allow vessel cleaning and maintenance data to be directly integrated into the Orbit Reporter system via API.

Vessel operator Western Bulk, an existing user of Orbit Reporter to gather data from the ships it manages, will be among the first to deploy the newly integrated system to capture vessel cleaning data to improve management of its hull cleaning and propeller polishing processes.

“CleanQuote helps the Western Bulk Ops team plan and execute hull cleaning and propeller polishing,” said Maria Dellgren, Head of Operations, Oslo at Western Bulk.

“By incorporating Orbit Reporter data into CleanQuote, we automate a previously manual task and ensure that important information, such as Last Underwater Inspection and Last Propeller Polish, is available in all our systems when chartering a new vessel.”

“This integration enhances our ability to manage maintenance schedules and optimise vessel performance.”
