Ascenz Marorka and Emerson agree ship fuel monitoring partnership

Ascenz Marorka reports that it has entered into a strategic partnership with Emerson Marine Solutions to combine their respective hardware and digital technologies for vessel fuel monitoring and performance management.

The agreement will see Ascenz Marorka’s applications integrated with Emerson’s Micro Motion Coriolis flow and density meters, offering a combined system for accurate vessel fuel measurement and real-time data transfer to cloud-based platforms.

“We are delighted to collaborate with a world leader in maritime flow measurement,” said Anouar Kiassi, VP Digital at GTT and Chief Executive Officer of Ascenz Marorka.

“Our partnership with Emerson enables us to provide our customers in the shipping and the offshore sectors with an integrated digital solution that combines best-in-class hardware and software to accurately monitor fuel consumption and optimise overall vessels performance.”

Ascenz Marorka is owned by GTT, which recently agreed a deal to acquire maritime data analytics company Danelec from investment fund Verdane for €194 million.
