Achilles has agreed a deal to add Swire Shipping to its Maritime Network, expanding the collaborative supply chain initiative to more than 2,200 vessels.
The agreement covers the operations of Swire Shipping’s 27 owned container and multipurpose vessels, running 12 liner services connecting over 400 ports in Asia-Pacific and worldwide. The fleet carries containerised, project, heavy lift, breakbulk and mini-bulk cargoes.
Swire Shipping will use the Achilles platform to improve supply chain due diligence, with its procurement and sustainability teams gaining access to a database of prequalified suppliers. The company says the move will support transparency, compliance with regulations, and alignment with international best practices.
