Carnival Cruise Line extends digital workflow deal

Carnival Cruise Line has extended an existing agreement with Maranics to expand the rollout of digital workflow systems across its fleet.

The cruise operator has replaced paper-based routines with digital processes using the technology to improve transparency, safety and compliance for crews and shoreside teams.

The extended deal will see the companies explore new areas of collaboration to support operational efficiency.

“Compliance and safety are at the core of everything we do,” said Benton Lobo, Vice President, Compliance at Carnival Cruise Line.

“Working with Maranics allows us to strengthen these foundations by digitalising critical workflows. The platform helps our crews operate with greater consistency, accuracy, and accountability, which ultimately benefits both our guests and our long-term sustainability goals.”

Carnival Cruise Line operates 29 ships from the United States, Australia and Europe, carrying nearly six million guests each year.
