Navarino has announced a new upgrade to its Infinity onboard IT platform, designed to deliver higher computing performance, improved virtualisation, and better scalability across vessel networks.
Launching on 15 December, the new Infinity line-up includes Infinity Plus in Core, Pro and Max configurations, alongside high-performance options Infinity Cube Pro and Infinity Cube Max. The refresh represents the most significant technical advancement to the platform since its initial release.
Infinity Plus has been redesigned to support greater processing capacity, more efficient backup routines and improved operational resilience, providing a virtualised environment for onboard IT requirements. Ship operators will be able to select a configuration aligned with their specific vessel and fleet needs.
For data-intensive operations, Infinity Cube introduces a 3-plus-node clustered architecture offering greater redundancy and uninterrupted access to critical systems and applications. Navarino says the system is built to support business-critical workloads and optimise resource utilisation fleet-wide.
A focus of the redesign has been simplifying scalability, allowing customers to upgrade from Infinity Plus to Cube variants with reduced disruption as operational demands evolve.

Navarino says it will provide implementation support for both new and existing customers transitioning to the updated platform following the launch.
