Marlink has introduced Sealink Multi-LEO, a hybrid connectivity offering that integrates multiple Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite networks into a single managed service. The offering currently combines the Starlink and Eutelsat OneWeb networks, with plans to include additional LEO constellations as they become available.
The set-up uses automated orchestration to select networks dynamically based on performance, coverage, and availability to maintain consistent digital performance, even in areas with geofencing constraints or geopolitical risks.
The service is provided under a single commercial framework and monthly subscription and can be deployed on a vessel-by-vessel basis or configured with pooling models that allow data allowances to be shared across multiple ships.
Data packages ranging from 500 gigabytes to 10 terabytes are available to align with different operational profiles.
