Maersk Tankers agrees ShipNet deal

Maersk Tankers has agreed a new contract with software provider ShipNet, which will see the tanker operator use ShipNet’s digital tools to support collaboration across technical and procurement management processes.

ShipNet will host Maersk Tankers’ technical and procurement management software systems in a Cloud-based environment following implementation, providing access to existing applications while also offering the option to easily scale the systems with new software tools on a global basis.

The new set-up is also expected to foster greater collaboration amongst Maersk Tankers’ operational teams, supporting their work with access to a range of digital tools.

“The partnership with Maersk Tankers has been a very strategic partnership for ShipNet. By working with some very bright individuals at Maersk Tankers, we have been able to simplify and innovate our solutions,” said Suren Thadani, ShipNet CEO.

“We are also grateful to Maersk Tankers for always supporting us as a very valuable customer and showing us pathways on innovations within the industry.”
