SOECHI Lines to implement Vessel Insight data infrastructure

SOECHI Lines, an Indonesian tanker operator and shipyard company transporting oil, gas and chemicals in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, India and the Middle East, has signed a contract with Kongsberg Digital to deliver and implement its Vessel Insight infrastructure on six crude oil tankers and LPG carriers.

Once connected, SOECHI Line will have access to the Kognifai Marketplace, with a range of integrated applications and services available to analyse and process its data.

After the initial rollout is complete and successful on the six vessels SOECHI Line says that it intends to continue with implementation on the remaining vessels in its fleet.

“We are very pleased to sign this contract with Kongsberg Digital. Vessel Insight will provide valuable analysis and contextual data, which will be used to optimise operations,” said Kamran Mahmood Khan, Director Fleet VM at Soechi Group.

“With continuous improvement, we are one step closer to more transparent and greener shipping.”
