Maritime software company BASS has launched BASSnet Web 3.0, making a range of application modules available through a scalable web service and cloud-based web architecture.
The application is hosted in Microsoft Azure, built with containerised technology to deliver high availability/disaster recovery (HADR). It features cross-modular processes to support fleet-wide operations within a fully browser-based system.
The upgraded software also leverages automation and machine learning to power business intelligence dashboards, with AI-driven analytics for deeper trend analysis to be added shortly.

The cloud service has been built to align with security frameworks such as NIST2 and has received ISAE 3402 Type II attestation for system security.
