VPS reports that it has released Maress 2.0, the latest version of its digital decarbonisation and vessel performance platform, adding new analytics and data-quality capabilities for offshore operators.
The system is currently used by approximately 700 vessels to monitor main engine and emissions equipment performance.
The new version introduces an expanded data-validation engine to support more accurate reporting and allows users to compare vessels or track performance over time, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains and cost savings.
Integrated notifications flag data anomalies to avoid issues with MRV and DCS submissions.
Other new features include year-on-year baseline comparisons, daily weather layers on map views, voyage replay functions and support for alternative fuels such as biofuels.
“This release delivers smarter analytics, cleaner data and a future-proof design that helps our customers sail smarter and perform better with confidence,” said Jan Wilhelmsson, COO Digital and Decarbonisation, VPS.
